An Invitation to Evangelization

EVANGELIZATION – An Invitation To Come And Listen

Beginning February 15th, 2018 in the Msgr. Gilmartin Hall

Father Pavia would like you to come and join him to listen to the Good News

The Neocatechumenal Way invites you to come and listen on

Monday and Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. in the Msgr. Gilmartin Hall

They will continue every Monday and Thursday night for the next two months.

Catechesis are one response of the New Evangelization that the Church offers to assist and support Catholics with the myriad of challenges that we face living our faith in the midst of a modern and exceedingly technical society. The central thrust of these catechesis is the forgiving and transformative power of the resurrected Christ which is found through the Sacraments and the Word of God. These catechesis help anyone who wishes to draw near to the healing and altering love of Christ made manifest in our Church.

The Neocatechumenal Way started in Spain in the 1960s and has been at the service of the Bishops throughout the world as one of the forms of diocesan implementation of Christian Initiation and of ongoing education in the faith. The Neocatecumenate is an instrument at the service of the Bishops for the rediscovery of Christian initiation by baptized adults. Among these adults, the following may be identified:

  1. Those who have drifted away from the Church.
  2. Those who have not been sufficiently evangelized and catechized.
  3. Those who desire to deepen and mature their faith.
  4. Those who come from Christian denominations not in full communion with the Catholic Church.

Feel free to talk with me, Fr. Pavia, about any questions regarding this. It is a blessing to be able to evangelize in our Parish and neighborhood. We need to bring people back to the Church and revamp with faith, love and hope those who are in the Church. We have a great mission ahead of us. The world is going through a difficult period, wars, hurricanes, earthquakes, family problems, youth; we all need to hear the Good News that Jesus loves us, forgives us and wants us to be saved from eternal damnation, that there can be peace in our families and in our lives.

All are welcome and encouraged to participate!
