Where do my children go?
It is appropriate that children of all ages attend Mass regularly and be included in the eucharistic celebration.

Many parents with infants and young children may find it very difficult to bring them to Mass, but the goal is to get them coming as soon as they are able and get them ready by familiarizing them with the church, maybe by going for short visits and gradually extending those visits. Going to church should be a privilege and something they want to do.

While children cannot fully understand all that goes on at Mass, they can participate in some ways. They can learn to genuflect and bow. They can place the envelope in the basket. They can sing, and the family can practice songs at home.

The goal is to help our children to participate fully in the eucharistic life.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?
The money that is collected in the Sunday offertory is used to support the day-to-day operations and needs of the parish such as heat, air, salary of clergy and staff, sacramental and liturgical supplies, repairs, etc. In addition, there are special collections that go to various missions and needs of the wider church and diocese.

I have a hearing problem. Is there any special assistance?
We are currently in the development stage of this ministry.
